 What Heaven is waiting for in each of us; and what does it do inside us and through us .

2 Things Heaven is waiting 4

#1.  (Christ’s life lived through us and His full Gospel & all His present truths told by us. )

Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?   Read Joel ch 3

#2.  (Christ’s Life lived IN us-the ruling part of us-His character has become our character )

Mark 4: 26  And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27  And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28  For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

29  But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Proverbs 20:27  The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Psalms 18:28  For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Psalms 119:105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Luke 11:36  If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Matthew 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Luke 16:8  And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

John 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2  The same was in the beginning with God.

3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 ¶  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. {comprehended: or, did not admit, or, receive}

6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {power: or, the right, or, privilege}

13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

15 ¶  John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

17  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

18  No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 3:19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 9:5  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 11:9  Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

John 12:46  I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Colossians 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

MR No. 518 - Team Ministry

     We received Brother Haskell's letter the evening after the Sabbath. We were glad to hear from you that your interests are united as one. May the Lord bless this union, that you may be a strength and support to one another at all times. May the peace of God rest upon you, is my sincere desire and earnest prayer. "Go, stand and speak to the people all the words of this life." (Acts 5:20.)  {7MR 386.1}

     I am pleased, Brother Haskell, that you have a helper [Mrs. Haskell]. This is that which I have desired for some time. The work in which we are engaged has made us one in Christ Jesus to diffuse the knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is your privilege to have happiness in your new relation to each other, in ministering the gospel to those who are in darkness and error. We can sympathize and unite in the grand work that you and I love, and which is the one great object ever before us, the enlargement of the kingdom of Christ and the celebration of His glory. In everything which relates to this we are united in the bonds of Christian fellowship, in companionship with heavenly intelligences.  {7MR 386.2}

     We are never alone. We can never put forth the least effort for the advancement of the work of God in our world, but the act thrills through all the universe of heaven and makes us co-laborers with God; united with the heavenly principalities and powers, all our sympathies are absorbed. Thus our strength and efficiency are to be united in the design of Christ as His agents connected with the great firm to secure other agencies and combine them with those already in operation, to restore the moral image of God in man. . . . Because of the light given me, I am fully possessed with the conviction that through your united agencies, as sanctified instrumentalities, light shall be reflected to the salvation of many souls that are now in darkness and error. I know you have not lived unto yourselves but unto Him whom you love and whom you serve and worship.  {7MR 386.3}

(Ed’s note : Looked up the paragraph to find what was omitted by the ...) The omitted is bolded, underlined. At the bottom of the quote the inspired SOP definition of perfection of character is bolded underlined. )

We are never alone. We can never put forth the least effort for the advancement of the work of God in our world, but the act thrills through all the universe of heaven and makes us co-laborers with God; united with the heavenly principalities and powers, all our sympathies are absorbed. Thus our strength and efficiency are to be united in the design of Christ as His agents connected with the great firm to secure other agencies and combine them with those already in operation, to restore the moral image of God in man. The (page torn) labor by our connection with Him, you will unitedly do the work of God on earth as the principalities and powers in heaven do the work assigned them. Because of the light given me, I am fully possessed with the conviction that through your united agencies, as sanctified instrumentalities, light shall be reflected to the salvation of many souls that are now in darkness and error. I know you have not lived unto yourselves but unto Him whom you love and whom you serve and worship. {Lt74a-1897}

     Each angel is at his post, waiting for the cooperation of human channels to give efficiency and power to the truth in the restoration of fallen man. This was Christ's work; this is our work. The angels of God are to be regarded as ever present with the interested, consecrated worker, perpetually stimulating, strengthening, and encouraging the efforts of the laborers on earth. By the eye of faith we are fighting in view of the whole universe of heaven. There is plenty of help and strength for us in God, for the heavenly agencies are mighty. Their divine influence is with all we do and all we say to advance the glory of God.  {7MR 387.1}

     These agencies are abundantly mighty; their efforts with human endeavors and through the medium of our faith will shed a softening and subduing influence upon our course of action. In the economy of God all the powers of heaven cooperate with the whole-hearted, earnest workers in this world in carrying forward His design in saving the lost. The claim of relationship and mutual influence not only passes from one member to another of the church militant, but through all the family of heaven, uniting both worlds for the saving of a perishing world.--Letter 74a, 1897, pp. 1, 2. (To S.N. Haskell and Wife, March 1, 1897.) {7MR 387.2}

     One thing I know, if we humble our hearts before God, if we seek to abide in Christ, we shall have a higher, holier experience. There will be a cementing of heart unto heart. . . .  {7MR 388.1}

     This is not to say that our brethren are to step exactly in our footprints. True faith in God will lead us to understand that each is a worker. . . .  {7MR 388.2}

     We are not to hold ourselves in our own hands. We are to drop self into the hands of God. We have been losing our faith in place of increasing it. "These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:17, 18.)  {7MR 388.3}

     This is a small part of that which the Lord has revealed to me. Our lack of faith is the reason that we have not seen more of the power of God. We exercise more faith in our own working than in God's working for us. God designs that everything possible shall be done to enable us to stand heart to heart, mind to mind, shoulder to shoulder. This lack of love and confidence in one another weakens our faith in God. We need to pray as we never have prayed before for the baptism of the Holy Spirit: for, if there was ever a time when we needed this baptism, it is now.  {7MR 388.4}

     There is nothing the Lord has more frequently told us He would bestow upon us, and nothing by which His name would be more glorified in bestowing, than the Holy Spirit. When we partake of this Spirit, men and women will be born again. There will be a firm pressing together. A firm, unwavering faith in God will be seen. The Sun of Righteousness will be in our midst, with healing in His wings. Souls once lost will be found, and brought back and kept by the power of God, through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.--Letter 105, 1898, pp. 3, 4, 7. (To S. N. Haskell and wife, November 28, 1898.)  {7MR 388.5}

     When we reflect Christ's image, we shall love one another as He has loved us. We shall not love as we love our neighbor, but as Christ loved us. It is an advance to love as Christ loved. This is the perfection of Christian character. When we can say, My will is wholly submerged in God's will, then peace and rest come in.  {7MR 389.1}

     We must have that love, else we cannot be perfect before God. We may be active, we may do much work, but unless we love as Christ loved, our candlestick will be removed out of its place. . . .  {7MR 389.2}

     We have little enough of Christ's character. We need it all through our ranks, We must reveal that love which dwelt in Jesus. Then we shall keep the commandment [that we love one another], which not one in a hundred of those who claim to believe the truth for this time are keeping. . . .  {7MR 389.3}

     Perfect unity must exist in a diversity of gifts. A union of all the gifts is essential. The one great commandment Christ has given is a new commandment. It reaches beyond loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. We are to love one another, "as I," said Christ, "have loved you." This experience must be obtained by every child of God. All must blend together in the work, thus making the work not onesided, but a complete whole.--Letter 121, 1898, pp. 6-8. (To S. N. Haskell and wife, December 12, 1898.)

That kind of love is a Divine Gift, it is not of human origin (COL-p-384-385), such love gets as close to God as possible through Scripture & The Testifying of Jesus (SOP ), and seeks to learn and obtain the power animating such love to obey everything God says from the Bible & SOP and how the Holy Ghost leads ( John 1:12 & Romans 8:14; even as the Heavenly Sanctuary is being cleansed <Daniel 8:14> so is the mind / heart of each child of God < John 17:26 & Deuteronomy 10:12,13 & Deuteronomy 30:2,6,8,10 & Ephesians ch 3 & 2nd Peter ch 1. > human moral character =’s thoughts + feelings.  Making behaviour changes are necessary when Scripture & SOP reveals it, but if that is all that is done, that is dealing with indwelling sin like picking leaves off a tree that soon regrows the same leaves (sinful thoughts feelings desires actions ) the mind / heart of a person is the word picture root of the tree. Start with the heart.

Progress in the Work of Christ

(A sermon preached at the Battle Creek Tabernacle, November 16, 1889, 11:00 A.M.) {Ms35-1889}

(Colossians 3:1-10 quoted). We are now called, in the words I have [just] read, to take away our minds from the world—also our affections—our hearts, minds, and intellect, to flow in another channel. This brings us into position where we can grasp hold of things of God. This is the work that is expected of us in the high calling in Christ Jesus. {Ms35-1889}

The young man asked the Saviour what he should do to have eternal life. He called him to the obedience of the law and told him if he loved God with his whole heart he shall live. If we do love with our whole heart, then we love as Christ loves. Oh, can we comprehend this wonderful love? In church capacity shall we do or say anything to discourage our brethren or, like Christ, build them up? {Ms35-1889}

There are many representing Christ who falsely represent Him before the world. Our hearts should be going out after God constantly. Our soul’s desire should be for Christ. Christ said, If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me. You cannot afford to sin—not one of you. We say unto you who go forward in baptism today, give Christ all your heart. {Ms35-1889}

I am so glad a few more have given their hearts and affections to Him. Oh, give your affections to Him who came to the world clothed in humanity that you may live. Will we clothe ourselves in darkness and doubts and unbelief, and then claim to be His child? Don’t pretend you are Christ’s and have no change [in your life]; don’t offer your righteousness, but hold up His righteousness. {Ms35-1889}

“By this shall all men know ye are My disciples if ye have love for one another.” If you are imbued with the love of Jesus, it will flow out from the heart. When we accept Christ, then we take on us the vows to become students in the school of Christ. Ye are dead, your lives are hid in Christ. {Ms35-1889}

There is no such thing as instantaneous sanctification. Sanctify today and tomorrow not by trying to excel this fashion or that fashion or this hat or that dress, but adorn to excel in Christ. Go forward [from] victory to victory; press [on] to be Christlike. {Ms35-1889}

May God help us to be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Christ is all and in all, the true Chain which binds every true child together. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, then there will be spiritual courage and spiritual fortitude. {Ms35-1889}

Thanksgiving is coming near. Are you fretting over the mercies of God to see what you can be thankful for? Is it for roast turkey, a sumptuous dinner? Do you say you have nothing to be thankful for? Then let me tell you what to be thankful for. Be thankful for Jesus. Oh, let us make it such a Thanksgiving as we have never had before in our lives. If you make a feast, call in the poor, the halt, not those who will make a feast in return. {Ms35-1889}

Then we want to breathe in the atmosphere of heaven. Oh, let us have His blessing. He wants you to have it. He holds it out to you. {Ms35-1889}

Brethren and sisters, let us seek earnestly for faith and the glory of God, and may God help us to cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit. {Ms35-1889}

Christ is all, and in all. He is the first and last. He is everything. Then let us press to the high calling in Christ Jesus.  ”

How does God’s love that He implanted into the human nature of Christ, get put inside us ?  Read Christ’s Object Lessons p-384-5.

“ We need not begin the work by trying to love one another. The love of Christ in the heart is what is needed. Self is in need of being crucified. When self is submerged in Christ, true love springs forth spontaneously. It is not an emotion or an impulse, but a decision of a sanctified will. It consists not in feeling, but in the transformation of the whole heart, soul, and character, which is dead to self and alive unto God. Our Lord and Saviour asks us to give ourselves to Him. Surrendering self to God is all He requires, giving ourselves to Him to be employed as He sees fit. Until we come to this point of surrender, we shall not work happily, usefully, or successfully anywhere. {Lt97-1898}

The Lord graciously accepts man’s co-operation. All we call our own comes first from Him, and is to be employed to His glory. He accepts an undivided heart service as the token of our loyalty to Him. He calls, “My son, give me thine heart.” {Lt97-1898}   ”

“ COL p 69, 384-385

“There can be no growth or fruitfulness in the life that is centered in self. If you have accepted Christ as a personal Saviour, you are to forget yourself, and try to help others. Talk of the love of Christ, tell of His goodness. Do every duty that presents itself. Carry the burden of souls upon your heart, and by every means in your power seek to save the lost. As you receive the Spirit of Christ--the Spirit of unselfish love and labor for others--you will grow and bring forth fruit. The graces of the Spirit will ripen in your character. Your faith will increase, your convictions deepen, your love be made perfect. More and more you will reflect the likeness of Christ in all that is pure, noble, and lovely.  {COL 67.3}

     "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance." Galatians 5:22, 23. This fruit can never perish, but will produce after its kind a harvest unto eternal life.  {COL 68.1}

     "When the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come." Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.  {COL 69.1}

     It is the privilege of every Christian not only to look for but to hasten the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, (2 Peter 3:12, margin). Were all who profess His name bearing fruit to His glory, how quickly the whole world would be sown with the seed of the gospel. Quickly the last great harvest would be ripened, and Christ would come to gather the precious grain.  {COL 69.2}.................... .................................................................................................... “  By no selfish practices can the cause of Christ be served. His cause is the cause of the oppressed and the poor. In the hearts of His professed followers there is need of the tender sympathy of Christ--a deeper love for those whom He has so valued as to give His own life for their salvation. These souls are precious, infinitely more precious than any other offering we can bring to God. To bend every energy toward some apparently great work, while we neglect the needy or turn the stranger from his right, is not a service that will meet His approval.  {COL 383.3}

     The sanctification of the soul by the working of the Holy Spirit is the implanting of Christ's nature in humanity. Gospel religion is Christ in the life--a living, active principle. It is the grace of Christ revealed in character and wrought out in good works. The principles of the gospel cannot be disconnected from any department of practical life. Every line of Christian experience and labor is to be a representation of the life of Christ.  {COL 384.1}

     Love is the basis of godliness. Whatever the profession, no man has pure love to God unless he has unselfish love for his brother. But we can never come into possession of this spirit by trying to love others. What is needed is the love of Christ in the heart. When self is merged in Christ, love springs forth spontaneously. The completeness of Christian character is attained when the impulse to help and bless others springs constantly from within--when the sunshine of heaven fills the heart and is revealed in the countenance.  {COL 384.2}

     It is not possible for the heart in which Christ abides to be destitute of love. If we love God because He first loved us, we shall love all for whom Christ died. We cannot come in touch with divinity without coming in touch with humanity; for in Him who sits upon the throne of the universe, divinity and humanity are combined. Connected with Christ, we are connected with our fellow men by the golden links of the chain of love. Then the pity and compassion of Christ will be manifest in our life. We shall not wait to have the needy and unfortunate brought to us. We shall not need to be entreated to feel for the woes of others. It will be as natural for us to minister to the needy and suffering as it was for Christ to go about doing good.  {COL 384.3}

     Wherever there is an impulse of love and sympathy, wherever the heart reaches out to bless and uplift others, there is revealed the working of God's Holy Spirit. In the depths of heathenism, men who have had no knowledge of the written law of God, who have never even heard the name of Christ, have been kind to His servants, protecting them at the risk of their own lives. Their acts show the working of a divine power. The Holy Spirit has implanted the grace of Christ in the heart of the savage, quickening his sympathies contrary to his nature, contrary to his education. The "Light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world" (John 1:9), is shining in his soul; and this light, if heeded, will guide his feet to the kingdom of God.  {COL 385.1}

     The glory of heaven is in lifting up the fallen, comforting the distressed. And wherever Christ abides in human hearts, He will be revealed in the same way. Wherever it acts, the religion of Christ will bless. Wherever it works, there is brightness.  {COL 386.1}

     No distinction on account of nationality, race, or caste, is recognized by God. He is the Maker of all mankind. All men are of one family by creation, and all are one through redemption. Christ came to demolish every wall of partition, to throw open every compartment of the temple, that every soul may have free access to God. His love is so broad, so deep, so full, that it penetrates everywhere. It lifts out of Satan's circle the poor souls who have been deluded by his deceptions. It places them within reach of the throne of God, the throne encircled by the rainbow of promise.  {COL 386.2}

     In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, bond nor free. All are brought nigh by His precious blood. (Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 2:13.)  {COL 386.3}

     Whatever the difference in religious belief, a call from suffering humanity must be heard and answered. Where bitterness of feeling exists because of difference in religion, much good may be done by personal service. Loving ministry will break down prejudice, and win souls to God.  {COL 386.4}

     We should anticipate the sorrows, the difficulties, the troubles of others. We should enter into the joys and cares of both high and low, rich and poor. "Freely ye have received," Christ says, "freely give." Matthew 10:8. All around us are poor, tried souls that need sympathizing words and helpful deeds. There are widows who need sympathy and assistance. There are orphans whom Christ has bidden His followers receive as a trust from God. Too often these are passed by with neglect. They may be ragged, uncouth, and seemingly in every way unattractive; yet they are God's property. They have been bought with a price, and they are as precious in His sight as we are. They are members of God's great household, and Christians as His stewards are responsible for them. "Their souls," He says, "will I require at thine hand."  {COL 386.5}

     Sin is the greatest of all evils, and it is ours to pity and help the sinner. But not all can be reached in the same way. There are many who hide their soul hunger. These would be greatly helped by a tender word or a kind remembrance. There are others who are in the greatest need, yet they know it not. They do not realize the terrible destitution of the soul. Multitudes are so sunken in sin that they have lost the sense of eternal realities, lost the similitude of God, and they hardly know whether they have souls to be saved or not. They have neither faith in God nor confidence in man. Many of these can be reached only through acts of disinterested kindness. Their physical wants must first be cared for. They must be fed, cleansed, and decently clothed. As they see the evidence of your unselfish love, it will be easier for them to believe in the love of Christ.  {COL 387.1}

     There are many who err, and who feel their shame and their folly. They look upon their mistakes and errors until they are driven almost to desperation. These souls we are not to neglect. When one has to swim against the stream, there is all the force of the current driving him back. Let a helping hand then be held out to him as was the Elder Brother's hand to the sinking Peter. Speak to him hopeful words, words that will establish confidence and awaken love.  {COL 387.2}

     Thy brother, sick in spirit, needs thee, as thou thyself hast needed a brother's love. He needs the experience of one who has been as weak as he, one who can sympathize with him and help him. The knowledge of our own weakness should help us to help another in his bitter need. Never should we pass by one suffering soul without seeking to impart to him the comfort wherewith we are comforted of God.  {COL 387.3}

     It is fellowship with Christ, personal contact with a living Saviour, that enables the mind and heart and soul to triumph over the lower nature. Tell the wanderer of an almighty hand that will hold him up, of an infinite humanity in Christ that pities him. It is not enough for him to believe in law and force, things that have no pity, and never hear the cry for help. He needs to clasp a hand that is warm, to trust in a heart full of tenderness. Keep his mind stayed upon the thought of a divine presence ever beside him, ever looking upon him with pitying love. Bid him think of a Father's heart that ever grieves over sin, of a Father's hand stretched out still, of a Father's voice saying, "Let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me, and he shall make peace." Isaiah 27:5.  {COL 388.1}

     As you engage in this work, you have companions unseen by human eyes. Angels of heaven were beside the Samaritan who cared for the wounded stranger. Angels from the heavenly courts stand by all who do God's service in ministering to their fellow men. And you have the co-operation of Christ Himself. He is the Restorer, and as you work under His supervision, you will see great results.  {COL 388.2}

     Upon your faithfulness in this work not only the well-being of others but your own eternal destiny depends. Christ is seeking to uplift all who will be lifted to companionship with Himself, that we may be one with Him as He is one with the Father. He permits us to come in contact with suffering and calamity in order to call us out of our selfishness; He seeks to develop in us the attributes of His character--compassion, tenderness, and love. By accepting this work of ministry we place ourselves in His school, to be fitted for the courts of God. By rejecting it, we reject His instruction, and choose eternal separation from His presence.  {COL 388.3}

     "If thou wilt keep My charge," the Lord declares, "I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by"--even among the angels that surround His throne. (Zechariah 3:7.) By co-operating with heavenly beings in their work on earth, we are preparing for their companionship in heaven. "Ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:14), angels in heaven will welcome those who on earth have lived "not to be ministered unto, but to minister" (Matthew 20:28). In this blessed companionship we shall learn, to our eternal joy, all that is wrapped up in the question, "Who is my neighbour?"  {COL 389.1}

This kind of love is the very nature of what Biblically Fearing God is ........

I found the way to get the attitude of the Divine gift of Godly love the undergirding nature of what the “golden rule” is,  implanted in me. The Golden Rule is Jesus Christ's explaining how this love is focused and what it considers and what it does.  It is part of a bigger Scripturally Obedient picture. It is not something any person either has or does not have, it is a gift from above. Therefore anyone can get it if they do these basic things.

1. Ask for it in prayer several times a day (even quietly from the heart, while working - without speaking, Heaven hears)

2. Pray till you really want it, at first it is usually prayed without much desire to get it, prayer changes the person praying - the concept “fake it till you make it” - works. Keep asking till it is desired and it happens.

3. Act as though you have it already, after asking for it, the Red Sea and the Jordan River didn’t open till people stepped into the edge of the water. Put away any and every wrong that blocks you from opening your heart door to receive Christ, and follow the Leadings of the Holy Ghost as found in Scripture.  Put away what ever in you, you know is wrong, and follow everything the Bible says is right, calling on Jesus Christ to come into your entire life and take over everything, as Lord, Master, Ruler, Beloved, Redeemer/Sin Bearer/Saviour to the uttermost.

“ The third angel's message is the proclamation  of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ. The commandments of God have been proclaimed, but the faith of Jesus Christ has not been proclaimed by Seventh-day Adventists as of equal importance, the law and the gospel going hand in hand. I cannot find language to express this subject in its fullness.  {3SM 172.2}

     "The faith of Jesus." It is talked of, but not understood. What constitutes the faith of Jesus, that belongs to the third angel's message? Jesus becoming our sin-bearer that He might become our sin-pardoning Saviour. He was treated as we deserve to be treated. He came to our world and took our sins that we might take His righteousness. And faith in the ability of Christ to save us amply and fully and entirely is the faith of Jesus.  {3SM 172.3}

The only safety for the Israelites was blood upon the doorposts. God said, "When I see the blood, I will pass over you" (Exodus 12:13). All other devices for safety would be without avail. Nothing but the blood on the doorposts  would bar the way that the angel of death should not enter. There is salvation for the sinner in the blood of Jesus Christ alone, which cleanseth us from all sin. The man with a cultivated intellect may have vast stores of knowledge, he may engage in theological speculations, he may be great and honored of men and be considered the repository of knowledge, but unless he has a saving knowledge of Christ crucified for him, and by faith lays hold of the righteousness of Christ, he is lost. Christ "was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). "Saved by the blood of Jesus Christ," will be our only hope for time and our song throughout eternity.  {3SM 172.4}  {12MR 193.3-194.1}   {1888 217.3-218.1}     ”

4. If you have a family, get them all joining you in asking, and acting on it; everyone will get the similar attitude = happy family unity - otherwise only you will get the attitude and they won’t = family disunity.

This is generically what I asked for after reading the quote below. Please cause my self to be merged in Christ, please implant and cultivate in me the impulse to help and bless others constantly, please cause the sunshine of heaven to fill my heart and is revealed in my countenance. I asked this 3 times a day - and started acting as though I had it and thanking Heaven for receiving it - then started progressively getting it . The internal benefits are long lasting. This transcends ideologies, anyone can have it. The Golden Rule process is for sharing freely.
